So it 2019 and the turkey and ham sandwiches have been cleaned out of the fridge and normality sets in.

It time to sit down and count the months leading up to your magical wedding day!

The first thing Brides do after confirming a date is search for the amazing wedding dress but usually next on their list is a photographer… believe it or not brides and grooms usually book their photographer 20 months in advance and for some brides who leave it late it usually adds to some disappointment to the day and missing your preferred photographer as the only two things you really have left after your wedding is your rings and your Album and its essential you choose not just the right style of photography you want to capture you on your magical wedding day but the right personality.

I often say to my couples “If you can’t imagine me as a person you could see having a few drinks with down the pub or going on a night out with then maybe Im not the photographer for you”. A photographer spends more time with the bride on her wedding day than the groom “honestly” and its good that you get the right fit for you and your personality. Im pretty laid back and like to stand off the bride with a zoom lens, nothing is worse than a photographer clambering over your dress at every turn and moment to shoot every step you take and in essence become intrusive on your day.
